You must install this utility if you want to
speak with or to listen to your teammates. You must use always the headphones
when your TS2 works because in this way you haven't voice's ecoes, very bad for
you and foru your teammates.
After you have
installed this utility, you go to Setting
options, then Sound Input/Output Settings
and there you can set your codes (maybe using the same codec of the
TS2 voice channel you are on) and also your
push to talk button (usually it'a a good choice the mouse
button 2, aka the weel) in order to don't have your microphone
always on, and finally you can set the receiving voice's volume. At
last, you can set your own microphone's volume using the control
panel of your O.S.(during a Clan War is very
important to switch the activation of your microphone to voice
activation)
In order to run this application, you have to run COD with the option Full
Screen OFF. To set the screen mode please
read here.
After this preliminary operation, you have to download the application and to
install it, directly on desktop (reccomend).
When the installation is complete, you can click
on TSDisplay icon to execute it and you can move the window evqrywhere you want.
After you log in a TS2 channel, then you choose the room where you are logged
in.
This application has the same function of
TSDisplay but it works both in Full Screen mode ON
and OFF and it has addictional functions too.
By only few settings, it's possible to decide
the position of COD screen where infos are shown, or the infos to show (channel,
who's speaking, who's logging in, who's logged out, text messages, FPS number
and local time).
If, after the istallation, you
encounter problems with PB, then you have taht update your PB and, if you
encounter the problem again, you have to uninstall TSOverlay because in that
occasion PB classifies TSO like hacking attempt.
If you insert IP:port of your
favourite servers, you can monitor your fovourite servers and you can
join directly from HLSW, maybe also change the nick you usually use. Moreover,
with this application, fagging on view - rcon section, you can operete to the
rcon section of your own server acceding to the
console, to the chat and to many other functions.
This application allows to send rcon commands, to view and to change the
rotation order of your server's maps, to view what maps are loaded on the server
even if they aren't in the rotation and much more...
Use with program with attention!
Any options could produce the server's crash or could change any important
configurations, causing the server's restart!!!
At this moment, you have to
update your COD using this patch to play in multiplayer mode. With shutted down
COD, you have to execute the patch and without not originals pk3 files in your
main.
If you are unable to join the game server,
receiving an error message from PunkBuster, then you can try to update manually
your PB.
Download the zip file "pbsetup.zip"
and, after the extraction of the archive, you have to drag&drop it in
"pb" folder, located in the "Call Of
Duty" game folder. With shutted down COD, you have to execute
the application and to wait the time for updating.
